I recently visited Savannah, GA and had a chance to catch up with a friend and college classmate of mine, Kevin Klinkenberg. He gave me your website address and I look forward to reading through your posts to learn more about speculative development. It’s something I’ve been greatly interested in for several years now. I sincerely appreciate the shared knowledge. Cheers.
We will be in Bentonville, Arkansas in late April, Hamtramck Michigan in early June and Cedar Rapids Iowa in late June. You can keep track of upcoming one day workshops and three day boot camps on the Incremental Development Alliance web site here: https://rjohnthebad.wordpress.com/ Where are you in the Midwest?
I live in Grand Rapids, MI and hope to attend the workshop in Detroit…

My Husband and I stumbled on your site after reading “How to get started as a small scale developer”. We love the mission and have similar thoughts for out own city. We live in Apopka Florida, which has begun to take some great steps in making it a great place for families to live and work. We are considering our own small scale investment into the community to help make a difference, and to generate rental income as well. Do you have any footprints in the Orlando Area? Keep up the great work, we have just signed up to join your facebook page and I’m registering to follow your blog. I see you also have a membership page which I will be reviewing shortly. This has us very interested!
Keep an eye on the Incremental Development Alliance webpage for upcoming workshops. I believe we will be in Tampa or Bradenton in early March.http://www.incrementaldevelopment.org
